Get Your Garage Door Looked At

What We Actually Do

We work on garage doors - springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, panels. Most of the houses we're called to were built somewhere between 1966 and 2007, with a lot of them going up in the 1980s and '90s across the dozen or so named areas we cover, from North Augusta and Clearwater just a few miles out to Grovetown, Hephzibah, and Jackson further north and west. That range of build years means we see a mix: older torsion setups that have outlived their original springs, and newer extension-spring systems that just need a cable or a sensor realigned. We don't do new home construction and we're not a glass or fencing outfit - doors and the hardware that moves them is the job. If a door is more rust than metal, or the track is bent past straightening, we'll tell you replacement is the better call instead of billing you for a patch job that won't hold. The climate here is mild with the occasional freeze, which is gentler on hardware than a lot of regions, but it still means grease hardens, rollers seize, and openers that sat fine all summer start grinding once the first cold snap hits.

Who Does the Work

The person who answers the phone is the person coordinating the job, not a call center reading a script. We work out of the Augusta area and the technician who shows up is familiar with the housing stock here - a lot of owner-occupied houses built in that 1966-2007 stretch, which is the bulk of what's on the ground across the 12 areas we serve. That matters because a door installed in 1987 doesn't take the same spring or opener bracket as one from 2004, and guessing wrong means a second trip. We're not going to claim a certification number or a founding date here because that's not what gets your door fixed - what matters is someone who's looked at enough of these local doors to know which part fails first in this kind of housing.

How to Reach Us

Call (706) 205-1501. If we don't pick up right away, leave the model of door or opener if you know it and roughly when the trouble started - that helps us bring the right part on the first visit instead of a second one. You can also find us at 2215 Tobacco Rd, Augusta, GA 30906. We serve the area within roughly a 20-mile radius of that address, covering North Augusta, Clearwater, Belvedere, Burnettown, Gloverville, Graniteville, Grovetown, Hephzibah, Jackson, New Ellenton, Blythe, and Harlem. If your place falls outside that stretch, say so when you call and we'll let you know honestly whether it's a trip we can make. Get in touch.

Frequently asked questions

Do you come out the same day?

We don't have a fixed response window to promise, but tell us what's wrong when you call - a door stuck shut versus a noisy roller - and we'll give you a straight answer on timing rather than a guess.

Do you work on doors outside Augusta proper?

Yes, within roughly 20 miles, covering places like North Augusta, Clearwater, Grovetown, and Hephzibah. If you're further out, mention your location and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense for us to come.

What if my door is too old to repair?

Some doors, especially ones from the older end of the 1966-2007 range, have hardware nobody makes parts for anymore. If that's the case we'll say so and talk replacement instead of charging you for a fix that won't last.
